Thanks to a massive eruption of plasma on the surface of the sun, or a coronal mass ejection, Earth was showered in ionized atoms last night, creating an «aurora» in the sky. It only took three and a half days for the atoms to reach Earth from the sun, according to the U.K’s Telegraph.
